This game showed why Hill is the starter and Thompson is the backup
Looking forward to Tuesday’s Ducks Vs Penguins game (which I’ll be attending), because the Ducks are on an absolute tear, and the Penguins have some momentum after that butt-kicking they gave San Jose, something to build on.

Zegras is making plays but 11 games in has two points and is one of two players that are negative +/- at -2.
Love the fact that Ducks are doing well. There's too much young talent that has had time to marinade not to be competitive at least. Might even take that Wildcard spot if rest of the group decide to keep on sucking.
Dostal has looked ready to be at least a reliable backup and Minty hasn't looked like a rookie D-man, like at all. Great offensively so far and one of the most responsible defensively as well.
And there's more to come too, once the rest get going and Leo cements his place on the team it's gonna be good times in Anaheim. But it's a young team so it could go to hell in a handbasket as well, but I just don't think Cronin will allow that to happen. It's nice isn't it, having a competent and demanding coach behind the bench again? The predecessor did a good job in being forgiving and trusting the kids even through tough times and you should thank him for his services.
As a east coast ducks fan, it was well worth staying up to midnight.

I'm glad the Devils picked up some depth players because they've been coming in clutch. If this team can snag wins without 2 of thier top players, they'll be fine. Actually think Max and Chris are playing great and happy Mercer got his goal too.
