Prior to this video I would have said Myers has been a disaster this year, but those numbers would seem to suggest otherwise. It's quite possible that my biases are at play when watching him. I definitely notice his mistakes more than others, but perhaps I should try to give him the benefit of the doubt and try to view him with new eyes. I'll let you know how that goes. 😂

This Canucks team knows Tochett is their 'last' Canucks coach. They aren't going to fire Tochett regardless of how this season goes. There's no way this core is going from Green to Boudreau to Tochett and to ANOTHER coach. It's an embarrassment, so I think there is some motivation to play the best you can. Credit to Tochett though, because he is implementing some solid defensive strategies to limit high danger chances. I think he's the perfect coach for this team right now.
Myers problems are mostly mental. If he doesn't have to think or carry the puck in his own zone he looks better. Tochs simple system is everything.

Re: Tyler Myers – look at that Tampa loss. That is why Tyler Myers is so frustrating. I feel for flames fans. With 2 wins in 10 games and 5 points on the season, I think they need to blow it up and start again. Man-o-man is that trade with the Habs looking horrendous.
