Is Brendan Gallagher’s leadership important to Canadiens? | HI/O Bonus

  1. I think that what might save Gallagher’s career is him learning to protect himself, since the beginning he hits everyone, punch everyone, goes into every scrum, block shots almost head first, does cheapshots the whole shebang.

He also simultaneously developed into a 30 goal scorer, but unlike Marchand he didn’t tone the rest of his package down. Which cost him dearly in term of injuries. I hope he can salvage what’s left of it, he’s still capable of doing 15-20 goals with the right line mates .

  2. You have to love Brendan Gallagher. And you have to be happy for him that he seems to be rediscovering his game. Finally, you have to hope it lasts including that it's not interrupted again by a serious injury.

I was thinking about the "redemption line" or whatever we're calling them. Assuming everyone stays healthy, how many members of that line do we think will be traded by the deadline?
