Blueger spotted skating on the ice this morning for the first time since injury earlier this season.

Stay off of the ice. This team is good enough. Don’t even need whoever this guy is.

This should have some good knock-on effects for the rest of the lineup.
Allows them to move Lafferty to the wing (who is 35% on draws). And I think Lafs size/forechecking plays better on the wing than at centre.
Gives them a RH centre, whereas Petey/JT/Suter are all lefties. Takes away some PK time from Petey/JT. Gives them the ability to load up with Petey/JT if needed.
I think it just opens up a lot more lineup options for Toch.
*Edit – Think I had his handedness mixed up with Lafferty. He’s a lefty.

Oh no! Not Teddy! I hope he’s ok. Hopefully he didn’t hit it too hard, maybe it was just a soft caress. He just started skating again…
> “I don’t know how close, but he’s getting close,” says Rick Tocchet of Teddy Blueger’s status. Isn’t sure he’ll play on the club’s upcoming road trip but appears to be straddling that gap between day-to-day and week-to-week.

This isn’t even the team’s final form yet. Who sits?

But did he skate on it too?

Question: was Blueger ever put on LTIR? I understand that means minimum 10 games, but it’s been 11 and he’s been hurt for all of them. Would there not be some cap benefit to at least retroactively put him on on LTIR to beginning of season?

Was he angry at the ice?
Good to see him finally skating but seems like he’s still not playing at least for another week, from [Drance](https://x.com/thomasdrance/status/1721610969745678803?s=46&t=7fabqgtgp69dNA1d51vxFw):
