  1. I have faith in this young man. He needs his teammates to step up and play to their full capabilities. GBR!!!

  2. Calm energy with poise, football knowledge, EQ, communicator to his peers/players, and very mature. Just won me over. Great job, Casey!

  3. I love his football brain. We are so lucky to have him at Qtrback. I’m all in on this team. One game we have a great future this season. Don’t get up fans!!!

  4. All respect for this young man. I love everything that he and his family represents. Boomer Sooner!

  5. I think he's the best interviewee we've had on the team in years!! I'm beyond impressed. The fact he already has scouting info on North Dakota, knew players numbers, what kind of plays they run, and they are undefeated in first games.

  6. CASEY GOT RATTLED BY HALFTIME , And it Showrd in HIS PERFORMANVE , As He Continually GOT WORSE And LOST HIS CONFIDENCE and FOCUS " it Showed in His Play " HE Made Terrible Reads And Couldnt Do Basically Anything in the 2nd Half
Also NEBRASKA'S STRENGTH TRAINING Is Lacking ,,; As.Most of Our Players Had their Hands on thier Hips ", Gasping for Air " Some Visual FACTS For Everyone "

  7. Casey threw a well time anticipation throw, Martin did not finish his route with speed and intent. It appeared Martin did not expect the ball to come his way and so he did not run his route expecting the ball. There is film of him doing the same thing against Wisconsin last year. This was in no way on Casey.

  8. To all the players and coaches: Keep getting better, play with 1000% effort, be the more physical team on the field, never give up even if you're down a few scores, and have fun doing it! Go Big Red!

  9. As a lifetime Longhorn fan, I was really sad to see Casey Thompson leave. He has played for two schools that have great tradition but have lost their culture and are struggling to get it back. I wish him the best.

  10. Folks watch his videos at Texas last year….he shows greatness in the first half but somehow breakdown second half. This is not uncommon. I had high hopes for him. Really hope a new place will help him excel. Yet, there some parts of his game were he gamble and don't have the arm strength/deep accuracy to be a gunslinger.

  11. He should of been pulled and sit out to get his head together. Smothers is a good qb and together they could of brought the game back. It takes both of them working together to bring a team together. Smothers was use to the players. Thompson is new. He threw to the same players too much. Should of mixed it up more. Nw saw this and took advantage of it. He's good but he should of been pulled for a minute.
