Once Woll got in, Mathews really picked up His Game and Positioning and it really Paid Off.
The Kids look like they could take right Over.
Robertson and Knies really helped the Puck Possession for the Leafs which they badly needed.
The Kids brought up Domi's Game a lot tonite.
domi at centre with robertson and jarnkrok line looked good… although its a home game and they got their preferred match up… will be interesting to see how they do on the road… could have something there…
Knies stays on the first line. Cannot ruin the chemistry that’s building. It was a roller coaster of a game but when does Leafs not do that to you lol. Glad we got the dub though

The comeback win was nice but let's not pretend that the Leafs weren't utter dogshit in the first period. They were bad, like really bad. Yeah you could blame some of that on Sammy. Fine but overall the first period play as a whole was bad. Clearly the guys play better with Woll in net compared to Sammy. I wish Sammy all the best and I hope he gets his confidence back but he's not the starter anymore going forward, it's Woll. Also the PK has been bad. There's a lot to clean up and you're not going to outscore your problems. An argument could be made that if Woll had started it wouldn't be as high scoring as it was for Tampa. Well if ifs and buts were candy and nuts, we’d all have a Merry Fucking Christmas.
TL;DR Leafs were dogshit and bad in the 1st and got lucky to walk away with a win in OT. Lots to cleanup. Coaching, PK and Knies should stay on the top line.
Finally giving knies the right opportunity. I didn’t like how they utilized him to begin season might have finally found something here.
