Canucks have only lost to eastern conference teams which is great. I have a feeling this road trip won’t be too friendly to them, hope they can 1-1-1 against Montreal, Ottawa, Toronto

Maybe getting blueger back might be an energy boost they need on the road

What a great game last night. The cynical side of me is though is still waiting for the team to come back to earth. We are definitely a better squad this year, especially with Demko playing lights out again. That being said we looked like last years team for the first 10 minutes of the period last night, and no matter how good Demko is we can’t be giving up 40+ shots a night.

What we witnessed last night was an Edmonton team that’s falling apart at the seams. But as for Vancouver, the start wasn’t good, but Demko did what was needed, and when Vancouver started getting opportunities, the game went as expected. Edmonton’s defense and goaltending fell apart again, and Vancouver made their shots count. This game was the perfect example of having reliable goaltending and not having reliable goaltending. Vancouver looked lost early on, but Demko held the fort while the team struggled to find their game, but once Vancouver did find it’s game the puck started going in. Also, Vancouver has only 2 even strength goals against Edmonton in the three games this season.
