  1. From the start of the season I have been saying the Sharks first win will come against philly…so tonight is the night I guess…..

  2. Maybe your experiences with the Oakland A's will have toughened you up for the torture of a record losing season by the Sharks. Home attendance is shrinking, team chemistry is imploding and more could go wrong than in the worst hockey pundit's nightmares. It ought to raise more questions about the philosophy of Mike Grier as the master strategist behind their new team identity. It could be another three years before the Sharks are competitive in the NHL as they have fallen behind other teams so drastically.

Injuries to key players, many new faces, many reclamation project players trying to get back to their true form at once, and a total lack of synergy among the players who made the roster are among the many factors leading the Sharks downward. It does appear to be an NHL team built to lose and make its fans suffer the worst season on record, but I expect some trades or other moves by Mike Grier to shake up the team. I don't think that David Quinn should be fired as bad penalties, bad puck luck and weak efforts by some players still struggling after many second chances may be turned around over time and with better steering by coach who knows his players and their struggles from inside.

Will they trade Blackwood to the Oilers or some other team desperate for another goalie? Other teams will be looking for desperation and the winlessness of the Sharks to take advantage of them in any trade. It is hard to see which players would be wanted by other teams l;ooking to improve. Brodie, try to get an interview with Curtis Brown about the Sharks fall and I am sure many of your fans would want to hear what Brownie thinks about this losing situation and how to turn around the disaster of this season as he is the doctor of hockey knowledge.

  3. I hate questioning the effort level and character of professional athletes, but this group has completely thrown the towel. I can accept a poor record of a team that is rebuilding and on paper the worst team in the league, however getting double digits scored on you at home in back to back games is not a talent issue. On top of that in the Vancouver game Kahkonen was drilled by a Canucks player after one of their many goals. Not one Sharks player bothered to intervene. Honestly that was more telling than the scoreline.
I'm confident things will get turned around in the next few years, but there is a ton of work to do right the ship and gain back some of the good will that has been lost with the fans.

  4. Yes, let’s take a break from watching you guzzle hopium on the A’s not moving to Vegas.

I want this team to win no more than 10 games and suck like no other NHL team has ever sucked before. Why? Because I want that as a Sharks fan. Give me a reading to care about this team. Because they sure didn’t win that potential Stanley Cup over a 15 year period. I know this team is gonna suck this year, if they already haven’t in the last 4. Suck hard! Then not get the number one pick because Sharks and draft lotteries are rigged anyway.

  5. But they will have live with ECHL or AHL size crowds when the fans realize management is trapped stuck with bad contracts. 😅😢😂😂🇨🇦🦈😭😣😫😴🤔🙄😔😞🙁☹😦😧😩🤯🤪🥵😠😢😤

  6. Remember Sharks Executive Joe Will saying "We're not rebuilding"
Yeah we're gonna stay a competitive club here right LOL

  7. Even here in Toronto the hotbed of hockey craziness, the Sharks start was the lead story on the Fan590.
    Also another typical professional job.

  8. Saturday was an absolute disgrace. It was disgusting. It was a complete sell out and they put on that effort. They outright arent trying, to the point tje NHL is investigating the team for tanking. This is an absolute embarrassment to the team. The league needs to and most likely will take control of the franchise
