They werent lighting shit up last game, but it was miles ahead of their “best” option Anderson or Monahan. Mony is good with them but I think it’s better to leave him with Gally and Pearson. You don’t really want to break that line if they do well since they are all players that they most likely want to sell this year or next year.
If we let them cook a little and stop changing their winger every other games, they might make shit happen.
He really does play the perfect complimentary style. If he focuses on winning some board battles, getting the puck to one of Suzuki/Caufield, and going to the net to screen/rebound, he’ll rack up some secondary assists and dirty clean-up goals. A substantial amount of the season with them and 40ish points from him and I’d be happy — we’d comfortably see a future core solidify of that line, Dach/Newhook, with room for a Roy, UFA, or trade piece.
