If they don't change the coach soon the star players will start asking to move to another team. Doesn't take much to lose the faith in the team when the results should be a lot better.
There's really only two conclusions the fanbase are coming to right now;
1 – The coaching staff is underperforming and not adjusting. (Chych's post-game comments about LA "they play with so much structure", was eye-opening.
2 – This team sucks and the players suck (ie. we need to rebuild…again)
The latter option is a non-starter right now for most of the fanbase, can you blame the fans for wanting someone, anyone, anything to take accountability for the consistent horrible starts this team has had?
The players love DJ? Awesome, show it by winning a friggen game with zero-doubt for the fans to have.
We are tired of "bounces not going our way", the analytics are actually showing this team has average puck luck this year.
No excuses.

DJ Smith! You really know how to make your team lose fans! Honestley I wouldn't be suprised if San Jose gets their first win against Ottawa on January 13th. They've actually been a dumpster fire this year! At least I didn't throw my jersey on the ice against Tampa that one night. I instead donated it somewhere. I did leave at some point during the 3rd period though as I was getting so bored.
Maybe when in 2927 when Ottawa wins the cup or at least has sucess I'll be a fan of the team again.
