    Well top-heavy doesn’t even matter contract wise. They have no death, they had to trade out Stassney just to make this work. Who’s there a second and third line center? They don’t have one, they just shipped out their third defenseman and they have nobody else.

    When Vegas went to the SCF in their first year of existence and lost, right after the game I told my friend "the Stl Blues were gonna win the cup next year because the curse is broken, because Vegas just picked it up." I'm curious if it'll take them 49 yrs to win their first Cup.

    Risky as hell, but I feel like Nate played like shit in these last playoffs so it’s a good move to dump. If it works out then I’ll be happy.

    Feel like vegas already exceeded expectations Cup or not during this window. Took Preds and coyotes forever to become relevant. Vegas makes finals in a Cinderella story movie and continues to bring in exciting players, brought out all the bells and whistles to enamor a passionate fan base, and continue to make waves in playoffs.

    I hate the fact that Petro is leaving the Blues. But, I expect that in the future we will look back a this like the Backes deal and be glad we didnt cough up this amount of money.

    VGK kept Engelland too long. Nate was so much fun to watch and is a really nice guy. I will miss him. May have to become a Canucks fan.

    See ya. 8 million a year for 8 years wasn't enough. I'm excited about Tory Krug coming to the Blues. He will fit in nice. Petro is getting a little soft in my opinion. 6'4" guys usually seem a little more physical.

    It was reported in St. Louis Petrangelo turned down an 8 year offer for 65 million by the Blues and when he did so, the Blues moved fast on Krug. I can only guess Vegas gave him the additional bonus he also wanted just for signing him that was not offered by the Blues.

    Vegas shows no loyalty to anyone. They traded the first person they drafted in their franchise the same year lol. This team is desperate to win a Cup now. Even tho there really isn't much pressure for them to win one. They only been around for 3 years.
