It's not just a 1st D pairing and 2 3rds with Demko or DeSmith, it's also forwards coming back strong to backcheck. And Myers has looked decent with the reduced minutes; it's just his salary cap hit – courtesy of Benning – that's the issue. Don't blame him for taking the money when it's offered by desperate/not that bright GM's.
When media who are consistently negative about the Canucks seem to be positive I start worrying.
