Iâm told the @mnwild are closing in on trading D Calen Addison to the @SanJoseSharks . Working on details for return pieces, but wouldnât be surprised if a draft pick in involved. #HockeyTwitter pic.twitter.com/ZC2B1CZ1qv— Kevin Weekes (@KevinWeekes) November 8, 2023

does that mean Spurgeon return?
It’s Daemon Hunt season boys!! He and Mermis deserve to get longer looks. Trade Merrill next please
For a 5th rounder?
The return validates my low opinion of his play. Should help the tank job in SJ.
Surprised we were only able to get a 5th for him. Maybe this will be the wake-up call he needs to start listening to his coaches.
I am a little upset, I was rooting for him but I know his play was not where the team wanted it.
There is only room for Jordan in this state.
I hope this opens up the opportunity for Brock on PP2. His pinches/net driving plays at 5 on 5 seem like they would translate well to the PP.
Paving the way for more Merrill and Goligoski later in the season. Just makes no sense. By the eye test and the underlying numbers he has had a good start to the season, last game notwithstanding.
bummer, was hoping he could turn it around. hopefully he has a good go in San Jose. We need another tarpless D man now.
Not surprised at all, writing was on the wall. I doubt we got much for him.
Sad to say the kid has been straight garbage, no improvement whatsoever, and we always had a worse team on the ice when he took a shift. I honestly think the only reason we were seeing any offensive flashes or possibilities of him being a PP specialist was because we haven’t had a true offensive talent on the blue line since Burns, maybe pre-injury Dumba.
But then Faber showed up and showed me exactly how bad Addison is, and I wasn’t impressed with Addy to begin with. Compare how Faber skates with and controls the puck to Addison, and you’ll quickly see that Addison doesn’t have any future offensive talent that we were desperate to try to cling to.
