  1. Juulsen gave the puck away on the 2nd PP goal by the Oilers because instead of shooting down the ice, he tried to make a cute pass out of the zone and then the puck was in the net. He was not awesome tonight.

  2. The Oilers don't get anything from their bottom 3 guys. Been like that for several years now. Holland never addressed that issue

  3. It is not beyond the bounds of reality for Skinner and Cambell to have sub-900 seasons. The Cancucks did that last year, and Seatle did that as well.

  4. I did not just hear this guy say Juulsen was amazing… You can have him!

  5. Well … if ANYONE DARED to tell McDohDoh! and Draisaitle how to play DEFENSE , maybe the team defense might be a LOT better… But the way it is, you have two of the most DYNAMIC OFFENSIVE players in the world; they (FACE IT, KIDS) ARE NOT "great" hockey players. Give me McKinnon and Zinbanejad and Crosby and Kucherov and Stone any day of the week. But, yeah, that was a pretty good start to the season, Canuckleheads! Whoo-hoo! 🥰

  6. Oilers didn’t really solve their issues over the summer. Yes it’s early into the season but the same problems have become evident. When your goaltending isn’t reliable or confident in itself you need to play better in front of them. And defensive mistakes is as much of who the oilers are as being the offensive threat so many focussed on leading into the season. If the oilers can keep a team to 3 goals they’ll usually win. The goal to regain the lead right after McDavid tied the game says a lot. And I feel bad for Conor cause it’s a situation that’s happened a lot during his time in Edmonton. Once Edmonton starts playing poorly it’s like it just implodes. No bounce back

  7. Casey DeSmith passed a massive test. He'll be valuable near the trade deadline.

Canucks needed this start, they were at the bottom of the league for the past several years at the start of the season…
