[NHL Watcher] LeBrun on Insider Trading: “Carolina keeping an eye on the 3 goalie situations in Detroit and Montreal among other places to see if maybe there is a trade fit.” Also mentions they’ve been talking to Halak, but no guarantee they sign him to a NHL contract.

Honestly if Kent can’t get Carolina (or Edmonton) to trade for one of our goalies at this time, I’m not sure we’ll be able to get anything substantial for any of them soon.

What makes me the most sad about these possibilities is if we lose Allen, then we’re tanking hard this year again during another not-so-promising draft year.
