So tired of seeing lazy play from plugs like Nurse, Bouchard, and others. Nurse and Bouchard are two of the worst offenders right now though, and is why call them out. Heartless plugs that have shown their true colours, and should be moved on from.
Woodcroft can only do so much with a shortened bench, when these players know he doesn't have the flexibility to sit them out, they have nothing to fear in retribution for garbage play. Once again, these players are showing their true colours in these conditions.
You wanna point fingers? It starts on the ice. The backchecking effort by most of these guys, would be punished in a friggen CHL game, much less an NHL game. Coach has his legs cut out with the garbage train wreck that the GM has put together.
Replace the coach if you want, and watch the exact same problems continue to fester, and maybe even worsen. You don't have both goalies with near-identical terrible numbers, when the goaltending is the problem. When both goalies are near identically bad, maybe that's a common factor to direct you elsewhere, like……………. defense maybe.
This team's problems, are below the coach, and above him.

When are the oilers going get a new goalie coach seems to me, ex-oiler goalie leave and get better. Goalie coach seems like the common denominator

This coach has a big WOODY for that under achiever Skinner who sucks in goaltending.
