Confused why Nate Thompson’s goal was good? So is Stephen Brunt

The SN analyst confesses he’s unable to see how the video review judges didn’t overrule the on-ice officials when it came to the Ducks’ 3rd goal in Game 3 vs. Calgary, calling it a “clear cut” case of a high stick knocking the puck past Brian Elliott

  1. You would think in a sport that's worth hundreds of millions to over a billion per team that they'd have cameras set up in proper positions to prevent these kind of controversial calls. The angles that they did have look like a high stick, Nate Thompson is 6' 2" in skates deflected it at shoulder level into the net which is 4' 0" high so i'm wondering what was the deciding factor into saying it's a good goal.

  2. At the end of the day tho the flames allowed 4 unanswered goals and obviously have no hope of winning at the Honda center. Round 2 here we come quack quack bitches

  3. Sweet replay shown to let the viewers know what you're even talking about for those that didn't get to see it….

  4. I'm never paying to go to an NHL game again, never buying a jersey again. This has happened too many times to the Flames to be a coincidence. Sure the league had probably it's worst year for reffing league wide, big changes need to be made. I can't see any point in having anything to do with the NHL until that happens. Until then other Jr leagues and other major sports like the NFL and MMA are much more worth my time. The boycott is on Bettman, you need fans to make your coveted troll coins.

  5. I don't get why only this instant kept the Flames from winning the game. Calgary had 60 minutes to score as many goals as they need. If they truly are better, they should have simply scored more and not blow the lead in the damn first place.
