The leafs are a cap management disaster. A very bad D core … bargain basement goaltending. Leafs are now 10th place in the eastern conference by P%.
Looking elsewhere the mastermind Dubas has turned the Penguins into basement dwellers. Talk about a disaster.

Perhaps its time to put klingberg on the fourth line, waive reaves and stick an ahl defense man in his spot. Cant imagine a worse outcome .

Great show. With all this expansion, the bottom of most teams lineup isn't very good. I was thinking the same with the Sens. A couple injuries and now we're watching a semi-capable Hamonic (who used to be good) try to chase the play. Scoring has gone up in the league because every team has more players that can easily be exploited by the other teams best players. This emphasizes the need for good coaching.

Did anyone …fans or management think the Leafs were competing with the best teams in hockey with the defense they went into the year with? They failed to make Schenn & O'Reilly priorities & went out and crafted the worst defense in the NHL. The core 4 are not bringing this soft/defense-less team to a cup.
