I think the biggest overreaction is people calling for Nills to dump Mush. He's made some boneheaded mistakes for sure, but he's been productive with Duchene, he defends his teammates, and he's passionate. He needs some one on one coaching, and I can see him elevating his game to the next level. I'm not super stoked on his contract, but we invested in him, so lets take the time to really develop him.
The PP has looked really good the last couple of games. They just need to keep doing what they're doing. 1 will get through. Seems to me that they're overthinking. They need to relax. Miro has been up and down. Wyatt has been amazing. Duchene has been amazing. Roope as well. Otter has given the Stars the leeway they need to figure things out. Marchment. He needs to be traded. I said it all last year, saying it again. He scores in spurts. Mostly just flops around and takes dumbass penalties. If he's going to take stupid penalties, make it worth it. Taking out kirill last year/this year would have been good. Kneeing homedude that took out duchene. Good job. Every team knows nothing will happen to them or their star players if they target our star players. That MUST change. And don't cry and "wE Don'T dO ThAt." Morrow and Hatcher would disagree. So would Marchand, Wilson, etc. No grit = no Cup.
I’ve noticed that the trends, or traits of the year (both good and bad) – they really don’t deviate that much by the end of the season. There are ups and downs, sure, but they all seemed to level out back to the baseline.
The low hanging fruit for last year – OT losses. I think that discussion started as early as November. It remained a discussion in the playoffs.
Last year was such a blast to watch as compared to other seasons. But I do remember thinking to myself – OK, let’s spin the wheel to see which Dallas Stars we get tonight. Dominating Victory, Miracle comeback, or the Ice walkers of house flatfoot.
Maybe this will go down as ‘ugly wins’ year.
Reality…..where is the two top scorers from the minors..4 has lost it 91 needs to go. We need two more goal scorers….Churn the roster!!!!!

Absolutely agree, Delly plays well, well enough to be in the lineup every night. If not every night, him and Steel or him and Smith need to be swapping around.
Slow starts are and have been a reality for this team for the vast majority of the Jamie Benn era.
