Man on man coverage in D-zone is crap, was and still is. There are too few body checks in the D-zone, it is not a scary place to play. Just too, too soft on the puck in the D-zone. Chirping after the game when you lost by 3 is not tough its dumb. The sixth goal tells the whole story, one guy by himself takes puck from Woll and a guy all alone in the middle takes a clean pass and shoots it in, while, what was it, 4 Blue shirts are stumbling over each other coming back from the blue line. Never mind they were down 2, that's Horse S, you have to all stay to guard the house, which too often is not done.
I wonder if this team even practices defensive. They rely on offensive so much that they donât even try to focus on the basics when it comes to defense

At today's practice the leafs played extremely hard and they stood up for each other ,during practice is one thing when you play for real is another
I have a question for all leafs. Why don't you hit. Watch Wendel Clark when he played. If one line doesn't play that way that is fine but other lines might play differently. Checking line and skill line. Have different players to mix it up
I would like it if the Leafs had more wins sure, BUT even if they were 9-3 or 10-3 etc, all anyone would say is wait for the playoffs. So, I will use the same logic and wait to see what happens in the playoffs. The eastern conference is an absolute clusterfcuk at the moment, so you just need to stay in the hunt for now until you can get siht figured out ! They have been entertaining though, so for now Iâll just enjoy the show !
