  1. ROR great in STL, doing fine in Nash.
    Tyler B great in Boston.
    Reavo a force elsewhere.
    The problem is in TML.
Pres, GM, HC, core players, ownership, one or all.
    TML are NYR of Canada.
54 years between one and done SC's.
If they get lucky and hire a Mike Keenan type winning HC.

  2. They need to decide if Woll is number 1 if so then get rid of Samsonov to free up money to get a D man. 3.55 m can get a good D man. They still need a good solid 4th line forward as well some of the ones there should only play in the minors.

  3. I thank the Leafs for showing me early in the season that this won't be a cup winning season. Fire Keefe, the coach is responsible for this mess.

  4. If the leafs would stop over paying players, they good get good goaltending and defense. Until these overpaid players produce the Stanley Cup, they aren't worth the paycheck.

  5. The problem comes down to: no pushback, no passion and no heart. The last player that had that, we complained him off the team and he went on to win a cup with Colorado.

  6. Klingberg, who seems like a nice, thoughtful guy appears to be regressing from his 'ok' D-man iteration in Minny, to the dreadful, clueless version in Anaheim + his last year, or so in Dallas. It's stunning how a guy who was a 50-60 pt D-man with a +22 number in at least one year in Dallas has fallen so far off the cliff. I don't get it. He doesn't come off as stupid, but his defensive positioning in his own zone is indicative of a player who doesn't have a clue. Reaves is also next to useless as a 4th liner who seems to have no clue as to how to defend & is a black hole on offence. I had huge misgivings when Treliving signed those 2 & they've done nothing to sway my opinion as to how idiotic their aquisitions were back in July.

  7. Sheldon should have been fired last year. This ugly thing is raising its head again. Sheldon us not the coach for the leafs proven 2 years in a row.

  8. The Leafs do not need Patrick Kane they need a better defensive system and that probably includes changes to their blue-line.

  9. Elliotte Friedman… the man who combs his hair with a pitchfork.

I'm just gonna say it… Justin Holl, Alex Kerfoot and Pierre Engvall were very underrated who got zero respect from Leafs fans, and the Team was better with these players – especially considering their cap hits.

  10. The results from 2017-present speak for themselves. The TEAM is not good enough/built for winning meaningful hockey games. If winning playoff games 8-6 ever becomes a thing, we'll see an EDM/TOR Cup final. They're a bad TEAM with several world class players. It takes more than a few good players to win at this level.
