  1. The season doesn't start tomorrow. We have time to figure out the defense. There will be people left at the end that we can sign for cheap

  2. Kole Kind was never going to crack the top 6. If he makes Seattle that assures Canucks will be better.

  3. I know it wouldn't be easy, but there has to be a team willing to take Holtby and his contract for even a 4th or 5th round pick. I'd just dump the salary by any means necessary. Mikey DP should be ready to go as the backup and if not, we can always sign a low cost back up option. We really need the cap space at this point, particularly to bring in a top 4 d-man and maybe resign Hamonic if possible. He was reliable defensively for us last year and as a 4-5 guy, we could do worse – unless of course, there's an NHL ready defensemen available at #9.

  4. Lind is a a prospect, so only time will tell whether he is a loss or not. Definitely was hoping Holtby got plucked, but apparently they feel there are somes teams that would want him.

  5. lol… the krakheads defense is instantly better than the canucks. can we start over too with an expansion team?

  6. This is hilarious. 3 days later, Rick is going over the Canucks needs (7:30) Cap issues, top 6 winger, defense and it has all been answered in the Arizona trade.
