Andrew Mangiapane crosscheck on Jared McCann – Have your say!
Andrew Mangiapane got a match penalty for this crosscheck to the back of the head/neck of Jared McCann. I don’t even know what else to say so you guys go ahead.
I think Mangiapane would've liked not to fall on him, and I guess use his stick as a landing point… Let's see if he gets the 2 games Benn did, or more likely 4+.
I don't see any possible purpose for that other than injuring the opponent. Considering the vulnerable position of the opponent and the apparent intent, this has to be an 11+ game suspension under the tough call system.
This one doesn't seem like a tough call, that was just dumb and dangerous. That being said, this is the NHL and the department of player safety has zero interest in the safety of its players so I'm not remotely surprised that he only got suspended for a single game.

I'm surprised there wasn’t a more intense reaction from Seattle. If there was, it was a bit delayed–did not appear in this clip.
Karma for injuring Cogs in the playoffs last year.
