   If klingberg is benched for next game, that’s a good. He was awful last game. Hope they trade him

   Already an improvement. It’ll help a lot with team energy if we’re able to get the top two lines to sit on the bench without dreading the inevitable goal thirty seconds after they score

   I like the direction this is heading in. The forward group is largely settling in (outside of Reaves being a waste of a spot in the lineup).

   The defence defence needs to be sorted out, and McCabe being healthy and Klingberg being pushed out of the lineup is a good start.

   Having an actual competent defence corps will do wonders to help our goalies too.

   I think an underrated issue with this and prior Leafs teams is lack of a clear identity. Are they supposed to be fast and skilled? Physical? Forecheck you into the ground? So far, the bottom 6 haven’t established who/what they are.

   Rotating cast of characters on one year deals in the bottom 6 haven’t helped either.

    Reaves ain’t the problem. He isn’t great but it’s not costing games.. Our lines look better without klingberg that’s for sure
