  1. The Gagner success is super cool. That's a big glimmer of hope…but you are so right: the Oilers must play like they mean it. They might be a bit high on the cup talk. Gotta be humble and work like a horse

  2. 'New guy' shows oilers how its done. Sad. At least i didnt drop 200$ watching this.
All those bums you see around Rogers Place used to be scalpers.

  3. We had 50 shots tonight. Offensive effort was there, defensive effort was the problem tonight, bouchard and broberg made 2 big goofs, and skinner should have had the first goal. If Bouchard wants to make 7M in this league, he should keep doing what hes doing because he will earn it with this terrible play and terrible GM.

  4. Easy win against Nashville on Saturday. Vancouver on Monday will be a good game.

Philosophical thought of the moment: How can players contribute when they're playing under 6 or 7 minutes each. They have to FIND a way (and not score a lot). This game was odd for me. First, I couldn't watch it AGAIN (I hate my medical reality) BUT I could watch highlights and look at the stats. The Oilers were volume shooters but other than ONE to tie it up in the first and 2 goals by Gagner in the 3rd they did a whole lot of nothing but shooting. The Power Play has died and needs a resurrection. Connor isn't close to 100% (he took ONE faceoff and LOST that). Kane did great again (though his one penalty gave the Stars the PP goal they needed to take the lead in the 2nd and they never looked back). The Oilers NEVER had the lead. They tied it up ONCE but other than that, nada, zip, zilch. Skinner had a sub .900 night AGAIN. I don't think everything is his fault. In fact a lot didn't look directly like his fault. On paper it wasn't a horrible game, you see the score and think it was close. It wasn't close. It was an NGE game (NOT GOOD ENOUGH). Take care all.

  6. Dallas won solely cause of Wedgewood, it he starts vs Calgary and we got oetter tonight oilers W it was just his night. It’s a loss, but it’s very encouraging too see that old oilers comeback team. Defence needs to be a better, and goaltending, but we all know that

  7. Gagner showed the players and the team mates how to start prepared and get it done. That said looks like this season is still a bust.

  8. We all know this guy is a great signing at 750k so glad he is back I’d play him 3rd line center and pk
