  1. Seriously the beginning of the last season with the players that weren't ready from injury and off season surgery I still had faith in my team when others didn't. This season the same only everyone was banging on about having nothing up the middle I again had confidence thinking there's more to this team and can still complete well. Every team has a weakness was something I thought about and once again the mighty Bruins have proven most wrong. I'm trying to say it hasn't been a surprise or shock to me. Good teams, professional teams find ways to earn the W despite the setbacks something we do well.

  2. Calling Lysell up would seem foolish. He's still sub a point per game, and yeah he's finally getting his mojo back after like a solid year of his play just drifting off. He had an injury a couple months into the AHL season last year and never looked right again. Give the kid a chance to build some confidence back up. It's clearly important to his game. You have Megna who's a vet who's been productive. This is exactly why you signed that guy. Bringing that guy up makes sense. Or you could bring up Merkulov who was one of your last cuts and a guy who probably earned a look this year with his stellar play last year, and unfortunately for him he got jumped in the prospect pool by Poitras kind of coming out of no where. Double unfortunate for him is he also seems to have potentially been jumped by Farinachi. All of a sudden this team that had no center prospects has a ton of pretty good looking center prospects.

  3. The Islanders to me are that team where if my buddy invites me to a Bruins game and says they're playing the Islanders, I'll say "eh I guess I'll go." Not a bad team at all, but a slog to watch lol.

  4. hahaha omg that skit was the funniest thing i have seen in years. Also I just love this system and how the bruins get all of the players to buy in. Just look at the last goal they give that empty net goal to teammates all of the time. I love it. Let everyone eat.

  5. Boston win. Coyle hattrick and leading the league… Yet honestly, totally overshadowed by the sharks win!

  6. It feels almost unfair for the Bruins to have 2 goalies that are in the top 10 of the league… almost 😀

  7. Tonight's game was definitely better than the last couple games. One of the first games where it looked like line chemistry was near perfect, the important thing now is to see them keep that up into the future. A lot of milestones tonight for players as well which is always a positive to add onto games, especially when the rest of team helps that player get those milestones. A lot of the pickups this offseason have been genuinely good for the team and has made sure the team has genuine scoring depth alongside some of the rookies that have come up, once the defense is back to fully operational the team will look like even better.

On the topic of the B's having one true top 6 line and 2 3rd lines it is a worry, but hopefully Poitras will eventually fit perfectly as that 2nd line center for the B's as the season goes along. If I had to pick the lines once everyone is healthy it'd go

    Geekie-Zacha-Pastranak
    Marchand-Poitras-Debrusk
    JVR-Coyle-Frederic
    Lucic-Beecher-Heinen
    Lauko-Steen

    Grzelcyk-McAvoy
    Lindholm-Carlo
    Forbort-Shattenkirk
    Mitchell

    Swayman
    Ullmark

  8. Charlie Coyle with a hattrick sure wasn't on my bingo card, but I sure cant complain. Makes me think back to the spicy takes video in the offseason where someone said he'd score 30. I would love to see it 👀
