He’s 18 and has a HUGE amount of pressure. Yet, he still has a great outlook and a great head on his shoulders. I’m totally rooting for him and not tired at all.

I’m a fan of Bedard and have been excited to see him play, but the most insanely annoying thing was the media obsession. I understand marketing him and talking about him, but they were so overboard and when watching the games they would talk about him when he took a single stride or there would be a goal scored or a big save and the camera would go to Bedard sitting on the bench instead of the guys on the ice it’s been insane. The poor kid must be stressed with the overbearing media the most
You can't help but talk about him. He's the next McDavid, which I know doesn't mean a whole lot at this exact second with the start McDavid is having, but Bedard is having a very similar start to his career that McDavid had. He'll most likely score 100+ points next year and lead the league in points several seasons of his career.
