  1. what we needed was to trade marner before his NMC kicked in. AM and nylander are premium goal scorers they stay and tavares can't be moved and one of the big 4 has to go for defense. it feels like we are beating a dead horse here. been saying same thing for 3-4 years now

  2. Yes and yes to Kyper (“chasing their cookies 🍪…” nothing has changed for the Leafs. It’s O players heavy and D non existing, no D system as a team. Look at the Oilers and the Leafs are not far behind this way)

  3. This team is always in a rush to get off the ice. Skate to the mid point and then dump in the puck and give away possession. Dumping the puck in is the worst way off attacking or line changing, why they still do it consistently in the NHL makes no sense. Pass the puck back and reset. Why is that so hard.

  4. Back in the day, a team had a starting lineup. I don't know what the Leafs starting lineup is. The Canadiens, Boston, Chicago back in the glory days in the seventies didn't trade to improve their teams. They developed their own talent and brought in players they thought would improve rather than make wholesale large changes out of desperation.

  5. Until there is a fundamental change to the complexion of this team, the analytics are purely academic. All the money is invested in four forwards. It hasn't been a winning formula and it isn't a winning formula.

  6. Having Reaves is like playing a man short, complete waste of a position that could be filled by a better player. He "Reaves" is not the toughest player in the league,I would take Tom Wilson any day over this useless player

  7. You must understand. They had a long playoffs run, they're probably still tired of it. Poor boys, they're still tired of it!🎉

  8. 100% agree with Bourne. It’s hard to soar like an Eagle when your flying with Turkey’s. The core is not the problem; it’s everything and everyone around them!

  9. JB is such a glazer sometimes 😂 how great could you be defensively when you’ve got 1 round to your name in 7 years?!

  10. Like, has it become clear that Treliving was NOT an upgrade as of yet? Some of these post-season acquisitions were horrendous, and good guys walked out the front door without a second thought..

  11. Sportsnet, this is one of the best segments I’ve watched ever on your network. This was so damn entertaining, I just want more of that conversation with Kipper.!!! The way their opinions were conflicting, and in a healthy, mature debate, I respect all of these gentlemen! Let’s get more of this type of content, in this format
