  1. I agree with Josh. Unless the incoming player is a young sure fire top line forward then we should let our own youngsters get their chance. We need to move some guys(Armia, Pearson, Savard) to give our own youngsters a chance.

  2. Guys, no mention of salary cap in your discussion of potential trades? For example, the Oilers only have $25,000 left on their salary cap. And there's nobody on the oilers that we would want back to cover Jk Allen's $3.8 million salary. Take a good look at the Oilers lineup. There's simply nobody there that we would want in return. And I can tell you there's no way Mr. molson's is going to pay for Jk Campbell's contract in the minors.

  3. I've had my eye on Xavier Bourgault for a while now. Any trade talks between the Oilers and Habs should see his name brought up.

  4. To continue my analysis. If the Canadians made an offer to Montembo and he wants more money. At one1 million do you oilers would give more for Monty then Alan.

  5. The whole Bourgault trade doesn’t make much sense to me because we passed in him when the season began when Edmonton placed him on waivers! So now why would we give anything up for this guy when we chose not to snatch him up for free? 🤷‍♂️ why give up any assets now for someone you chose to ignore?

  6. Too many forward, trade Allen to the oilers for draft capital, use the drat capital and/or other assets to get a goalie like Askarov.

  7. I have some posts made in 2014 or 2015 on the hockeyinsideout blog site calling to trade Carey because I thought he was already on "creaky knees" and that taller goalies tend to have knee problems if they play so long. Proven correct yet again.

  8. Good hockey content but can't watch with Jesse enormous mouth. I mean it's non proportional to the rest of his face.

  9. If Im Hughes Im NOT trading Allen anytime soon. Why help out Edmonton now? Let them completely crater. Besides, the Leafs, Flyers, Penguins and a couple more teams are ALL looking for help between the pipes. As mentioned by @rinobourgoin8829 the Oilers lineup AND prospects doesnt look that appealing for a Hughes shopping spree, especially considering the Oil salary cap issues.

  10. To be fair 3 on 3 is not super old. Records will be broken, just like Boston last year with most points cuz of 10 ot wins back in 70s no ot a draw is a draw Habs from 70s with ot would destroy Boston in wins with ot and points.
