  1. Eric! Nikken! Teo! the amount of hype contained in this video is unmeasurable. Hold on I need a count of the number of gems in this edit:

    1. Six year Linda flashback / wholesome update
    2. Eric returns to the show and looks STRONG
    3. Unreal sound / film / project demo that looks like something I would legit watch in a theater (plz use headphones y'all)
    4. Some comments from Eric AND Nikken about setting at the European Cup (with legends)
    5. Announcement of a climbing film-type project featuring Team Sweden (Emil + Fredrik confirmed) dropping in 3 days (!)
    6. Nikken continues to level up as a setter with no discernible ceiling
    7. Eric trying hard, sending, and being challenged with projects
    8. Teo debuts as cinematographer and nails it

….?! Just so much stoke. Next drop bout to be fire and I'll be here for it. Congrats on setting at the European Cup Nikken! Nice work Teo! Eric, when you direct a feature-length setting-film project you will surely have a small country's worth of YT gremlins ready to buy every ticket. Keep doing your art man. It's incredible 👏

  2. Let's go Erik! So impressing to see your learning and development over the years. Excited to see the movie! ❤

  7. Loved the video and it's good to see you back climbing on camera. The trailer was smashing! I can't wait to see it for the content, but the film-making looked top-notch, which is going to make for the material shine even more, loved it!

  8. Eric your joy is palpable and infectious! So rad to see your comeback and your video skills are so next level! I'm so excited for the full length video!
I'm so here for more of this! 💯❤ Much love to all of you

  9. God damnit Eric you've done it again! The atmosphere in your videos is always such a treat to watch.

Fun fact: I don't think I've ever in my life commented on a video before. But this crosses a line man. I want to say a couple things to you because you deserve to know the joy you bring into this world by staying true to yourself and fighting for what you really want. There's something so damn alluring about the perspective you've chosen to focus on through the years. It really shows that the power of friendship is very real. And it is damn infectious. The way you guys support and challenge each other is really inspiring.

First of all I have to say that the trailer you've shown was incredible. The rollercoaster of emotions you've boldly forced me to have was quite the experience. I remember thinking: "This is exactly what i need". Only to be struck down by your big reveal mere seconds later and not even be mad about it. It fit so well in your style of filming. Plus you did say not too long ago that it was a dream you still have, not one you've reached yet. And then later, when i've already accepted my fate of being bamboozled oh so tenderly, you pull the ol' Uno reverse card and deliver us from our torment with the promise of a 28 minute glimpse of that dream anyway. Preposterous! I feel violated and cared for at the same time. All jokes aside though, you set that up so well that I felt a need i've never felt before. I needed to let you know how much you move me and probably so many others with your passion. Bravo.

So there's all that, which already left a significant impression. But then there was more! I feel like the way you've shown yourself to us in these last two videos is an incredibly brave and touching gesture. It felt very personal and i think you should be very proud of the openness that you're willing to portray. Being able to confidently show yourself during these moments of vulnerability is a feat in its own right but you do it with such humor. Such playfulness. It pulls our attention away from the dreariness and instead shows us that when you have the right kind of support, enough patience, and a stubborn passion there will always come better times. Its a powerful display of perseverance and humaneness. We're all just people having a go at life.

Oh yeah and did i mention you look strong as fuck, god damn. Going for that gaston crimp and holding it through that aggressive barn-door was something else. I felt that. Such raw determination. That's what its all about and you're feeling it! I'm very happy for you that you've found the drive to try hard again and also that it aligns with where you are in the process of reclaiming control over your boy and your balance.

I am really looking forward to what you and the whole crew have in store for us in the future.

By the way, Nikken! You magnificent man! By consistently setting(and in that sense also understanding) such beautiful and refreshing movements you really seem to challenge the others'(or for that matter your own) techniques, physical capabilities, creativity, cleverness, grace, subtleness, balance, grit, endurance, boldness, and probably more, in a way that always seems just what they need. It is such a diverse portfolio you've built through al the videos that I have trouble finding the right words to express my awe. And through all that originality there's that signature Nikken quirk which throws you off in just the right way so as to keep you wanting to do it again. The way you seem to mold the routes to a difficulty level that makes the others want to go beyond themselves while still keeping it all as playful as you guys seem to be in so many occasions is a testament to your understanding of how the human body works. But maybe even more importantly: it shows that you know, and care for, these people very deeply and are not afraid to use that against them. Tough love executed efficiently and damn if it isn't an effective stimulator of personal growth. Watching you grow your skills and confidence as a setter and climber while keeping your humility and staying true to who you are is nothing short of incredible. You played a big role in my own passion for setting, That's for sure. And I want to thank you dearly for that!

Cheers guys, keep up the good work!

  10. forgot I was in a trailer and was just waiting for the film to start! So good Eric, and a unique perspective as always
