Man I almost forgot how much I love Buch when he’s having fun. That shit eating smirk. I respect how he’s hard on himself as well. All our lines are looking f solid. Everyone playing roles. We’re showing depth. We can get scoring from anyone any given night. Impressive win. It’s easier to exceed expectations when they are not high. But having to live up to big hype? Takeaways:
1. Finally beating Colorado. I’m pretty sure we beat them last year but it feels like wins are rare against these pricks. To do it in this fashion in their building, so damn satisfying.
2. Binnington remains world class and there’s no one else I’d rather have in net with the way he’s playing this year. Fun fact: every time binner fucks the avs an angel gets its wings.
3. Schenn, Buchnevich, and the power play ALL needed this outburst badly. Up next: Kyrou and Vrana.
Also, I hope Kapanen is ok. He’s been very good in all facets of the game this year.
In a game full of highlight moments one of the best plays was during one of CO’s 3rd period power plays neighbors s checked McKinnon off the puck as he entered the zone then cleared it. I heard some Avs fans booing 29. 🤘😝🤘
Haven’t had that much fun at the ball sack in quite some time.
