    I screamed in joy! Yes!! Ovechkin will beat Gretzky in total goals. Has already beat him in away from home goals. The next empty netter he is nr 1 taking another record away from Wayne. Wayne still has 69 more home goals which he might keep forever, but over 2,5 years ovie is destined to get to 895, possibly the first ever to 900 goals. He looked great the last game when he only got an assist. Tonight not quite as slick due to playing two games in two nights, but he still scored twice with 69 games left so he has a good shot at 40, definitely 30.

    He has no one to set him up anymore. I can't see him breaking Gretzky's goal record. (He still has 68 -I believe left to go) we'll see

    Gretzky loved the empty net. I watched his entire career. He was a master of the empty net goal scoring, now ovie will soon beat that record. It is impressive though many think it isn’t.

    Lou Lamarillo you gave Lambert a chance he has to go, Lou you didn't move any body and gave out long turm contracts you have faith in the players time for a coach to come in and at least knows how to put the right combination players on the right line time for a coaching change
