Sounds like Jack’s situation is a bit better than many of us expected, while Nico’s is unfortunately worse.
I still feel like Jack is rushing back. He clearly wants to play the Rags on Saturday, but like they initially said week to week and then three weeks and now Jack’s trying to come back in under two weeks?
And with Nico, I am one hundred percent positive the only other player who would play through an injury like Jack or more than Jack is Nico and the fact that he’s still not close or there’s no real word on what’s up with him is incredibly concerning.
Anyway, I don’t want either of them back until they’re healthy and good to go and one hundred percent.

Yes, Jack is so key to the offense, but I feel like we’re dying for Nico’s 200 foot game right now. He’d make such a big difference on both ends.
Nico’s injury was handled poorly. Then Jack went down with his shoulder and got rocked on the next shift before heading down the tunnel. I hope they learn from this
When Nico’s autograph signing got cancelled weeks before the scheduled date you had to know it was bad. Like *bad* bad.
Forget playing hockey, they knew he wasn’t going to be OK to sit at a table and sign stuff weeks down the road. This is gonna be a long one.
I’m sure Hischier had a concussion and they need to be extremely cautious with him, it could be career altering if he gets another within a short time.
The absence of these 2 key centers are definitely felt. But man, I don’t want either of them to come back if the possibilty of getting hit again would worsen their injuries. Sounds like Nico’s is almost def concusion-related. Jack is competitive asf and it’s probably killing him on the inside watching his team get crushed.

He should not come back until he’s ready for contact on that shoulder. The team needs to go through this period. Other players need to step up.
Being completely naive here and don’t mean disrespect, but why is it that when football players get a concussion they’re out a week maybe two and hockey players are out months?
