The smartest thing I have done this year is turn this game off after the first period. Now I have to watch the game tonight and see what they can do. Its going to take several games to win back some confidence.
I noticed mackinnon giving up on a lot of plays this season, just floating around, turns a puck over and instead of fighting for it, he just gives up

I couldn't agree more. This is not about struggling, the refs, coaching(at least not yet), bad luck or just being a mediocre team, which they're not. It's all about effort, or lack thereof. Now they get Seattle again. We'll see if they come ready to play or not. I'm sure Oliver Bjorkstrand can't wait for this game to start.
