I can't wrap my mind around how just about every other team has their crap together and the sabres still feel like they're in pre season trying to figure out what's going on

UPL has been great so far. We need our offense to start exploding.
I was against it at first but now….we need something to light a fire under the ass of these multi millionaire soft no goal scoring players. Sick of the inconsistency, and don't get me started on Power aka 8 million dollar man aka Myers 2.0 wtf
This bottom six is terrible. Adding him should force someone off this team, such as Olofsson. And we need PP help.
I'm torn on Kane. My better sense says hell no. Would he get more fans in the building? I don't know. His surgery is a huge red flag, especially considering his age. Other players who had the same surgery were never the same. Will Kane go the same route? I don't know. If he signs well he could play on PP1 instead of JJ, move JJ to PP2, and get Okposo off the power play!! Then slot in on L2 with Mitts and JJ, move Greenway to L3, and send Olofsson away for a pack of new sticks.
I was initially a hard no on Kane but now I'm more open to it… the power play is atrocious n if he can help in that area I'm fine with it… besides he's the only guy besides Johnson that has extensive playoff experience n I for one am tired of how little urgency there seems to be to make it this yr
I’d line to see Kane on a line with Mittlestadt and Benson. The elevation of Mittlestadt’s game and the potential of Benson could be an amazing fit with Kane, even if he’s only playing at 75% of his skill level. Just look at what Kane did to help launch Panarin! If he could help Benson the same way, it would be worth it!!
I’m not with you about getting rid of a goalie. So far this season, we’ve needed all 3, and they’re all playing fairly well. If you think that the main priority should be Levi’s development, then send him to Rochester when Comrie returns. If you got your wish and we would have gotten rid of UPL, this season would be a disaster so far.
Still rather have a quality 2 way player as opposed to Kane. But at this point. They would only have to give money and a roster spot

Id Rather spend 3-4 million on a 3x cup winner and Best American born Home grown Buffalo kid of Patrick Kane for 2 years than a inconsistant 20 goal scorer who has already been scratched more than half the games already riding the pine Victor Oloffson.
Id take Kane in a heart beat. He would bring fans back to the arena.
Guys go get that surgery and God forbid they get strung out on pain pills. Not saying they all do, but there is a whole side to these guys personal lives that we don't see and never hear about.

Kane will go to the best situation for him , $ and years ! I’m sure there are many teams he could help,but the problem is salary cap ! 75% of Kane is better then 75% of everyone else !

The Rangers want Kane, why wouldn't he just go there ? A chance to win with a much better team. The Sabs aren't winning, that's for sure, not while Kane is still in the League anyways !

Krebs brother told him that he stinks, and it started a fight between the two. Their mommy made them both sit in a corner for an extended "time out" and that's why he missed the game.
Aside from his capability at scoring goals, which has understandably dwindled as he's aged, Kane is still an elite level disher of the biscuit and would be an improvement to the PP and at 5-on-5. Wouldn't mind seeing him in a Sabres sweater on a one-year deal with an option for a 2nd year.
