Love the full effort. That was playing 60 minutes of hockey. Awesome to get Binner a shutout.

Superb game by the boys. They didn’t cave when the pressure was on and stood up to a tough Lighting team. Krug had two super crispy passes that led to goals, Kyrou gets a good pair, Parayko getting in on the action all night, and Binner sat on his net and the goose egg never cracked.
I know it’s WAY early in the season but right now, about the only thing this team is lacking is high-quality facial hair.
Uh oh… somebody learned how to score.
The haters won’t admit it, but Scandella has been pretty good

Chief over here cooking y’all. This is not the same team we started the year with.
Craig Berube got onto that bench, remained professional, and did not commit any inappropriate sexual acts towards any of the players.
He got the boys going with his honesty and legitimate leadership.

Takeaways:
1. The most complete game of the season, start to finish. Terrific defensive play, terrific goaltending, and goals.
2. Getting kyrou and vrana going is very significant. If kyrou remembers he’s a 40 goal scorer this team is difficult to defend.
3. Torey Krug is…not bad? This is difficult for me to process, but he looks like Boston Torey Krug this season. Stay tuned.
I like how Chief waits in the hall for the stars of the game to come back to the locker room.
This team finds life and magic out of no where. Parayko is playing like a beast. He’s easily our best defensemen

We are so back
Binner shutout, Rob Thom had a ridiculously high, possibly 100% faceoff, Krug had some immaculate key passes, and the last goal curtesy of our Captain and Kyrou wasn’t even an empty netter. This felt good.
The Blues have scored 4+ goals in 4 games over the last week-and-a-half; this is the scoring threat I thought this team could be at the start of the season.
Now it’s time to go fishing at The Tank in San Jose. 🎣

I hope Hofer is picking up a lot from Binnington, as he has been playing well, too. This tandem could be lights out for the next few years if they keep this up!
