  1. Yes lets get that contract moving.

Please get him signed before we can't afford him.

And hopefully leave us some room in the end.

  2. Why would Petterson even think of talking now? He’s having a career year so to sign now would be stupid! If he keeps putting up points at this pace, it can only help his value at seasons end! It gives him leverage and management sees the contract might be more than they were expecting, given his performance! I say he waits til seasons end and keeps the distraction away from both him and his teammates!

  3. Ok this has bothered me ever since I started watching your videos.. WTF do you say at the end of every video, right before, "…and, bye."???

  4. Hey bro loving your videos, but watching nhl hockey the video game in the background makes it just impossible for me to focus, the only way for me to listen is if I don’t watch the screen, anyway you can put something more interesting or relative in the background?

  5. I'd like to also address a huge question.. Yes Petey is priority number 1! and he'll likely command a 8-12M contract but my question is how do we also sign Hronek? He's already making 4.4M with the way the Nucks are playing this year he'll likely want 6+ the only way I see him being able to resign is if the team finds a way to shed Garlands contract and not resign Beauvillier. I feel Hronek needs to stay to help this team defensively. Keeping both players seems damn near impossible tbh..

  6. LGR great job by your team so far so good but like every other team they are looking for top 4 defenseman which really hard to find when you have no cap space currently to get it done and the extra baggage you might want to unload nobody is taking those contracts as is. without you guys retaining 50% to start and incentivizing another team to unload yet another 25% of there deals. Even the guy in CGY makes only $3.75M you guys couldn't do it without unloading salary I doubt you guys have accrued that much yet?

  7. Pettty isn't taking a penny less than the Auston mattews AAV contract believe you me forget $12 million that isn't happening AAV wise and he is going to want the full eight years like JT.

  8. If he want to stay in Vancouver, AND he wants to be on a winner, he’ll need to leave money on the table with vancouvers benning/cap situation. 10.5×8 would be my guess. If he’s looking for 13+ he won’t be playing for a winner, unless of course he goes to another team with a better cap situation.

  9. As a long-time Canuck fan I cannot but fear the worst, that EP40 is playing himself out of the affordability for this team to field a contender. Realistically, I think 8×11.5 would be considered a “hometown discount.” But if he is getting that money, the team would be cap-strapped to sign other pieces, which is how the Oilers and the Leafs are constructed to accommodate their big ticket players.

  10. I think Pettersson is probably starting to believe Vancouver can be the team he hoped it would be – they have maybe the best goalie tandem in the league, the best defense-man in the NHL, some very talented wingers and goal scorers and a solid defense. They have – so far -the best goal differential in the entire league by a wide margin.

  11. he wants to leave for a good team that can actually win, not these bums who can't even make the playoffs lol

  12. Im not too worried about affordability. Cap is going up which negates oel buy out. myers will be gone beauvillie the way hes playing will either be a ufa or take a discount to stay.

  13. its a good idea to start the serious talks….its NOT going to get cheaper to get a deal done when he wins the Selke…

  14. He wanted to be on a competing team, he's on it. Home town discount if he wants to keep winning. Over bloated contracts paying their top players is what ruins teams into non existence.
