I appreciate this but I do wish folks would stop relying on last team history as an indicator of how a current team will do.
I’m nervous like most of you, but I’ve never been one to play the comparison game in sports.
2019/2020 was a few years ago and the team has unfortunately changed a lot.

Sure but using the past to predict the future during a murky present is just copium. Unless your name is Nikita Kucherov, if you’re on the Tampa Bay Lightning, you have to be better than this, full stop.

On the one hand, yes sure. On the other hand, that team we knew was loaded with talent and just a bit groggy after the sweep that shall not be named. That team went 20-2-1 in the next 23 game after this one. Do we see anything at all to indicate this team can pull off a run anywhere near that, with or without vasy?

They can, but it’s looking increasingly like they’re going to need to change personnel/schemes. The defense is lost right now.
