You think Nucks fans would’ve booed if their team was at the bottom of the standing instead of near the top?

He got a massive standing ovation during his tribute video. We are allowed to boo him now

It’s Vancouver. They won’t see the sun again for minimum of 200 days.

They’re extending his name, Boooo. That’s also approval

Why the fuck would you boo a guy that got traded? This is why nobody wants to play in Canada.

I was at the game, he waved in my general direction in warm up as I stood with my Canucks Horvat jersey on and tried not to cry as I watched him try and get it together. He was my favourite Canuck since the Sedins retired by a long shot. The mouth breathing, man spreading, jackass that was sitting next to me epitomized moron as he told me he was going to be booing Horvat. Didn’t react to the welcome but was happy to cheer for Miller and yell ‘free’ during the anthem. Then proceeded to act like the ape he was screaming for fights and booing and generally acting like a fool. I was disgusted at those that booed him during the game. I’d like to see them go through what he did and then make a mistake and see how they feel. He’s always been an emotional player and person, that’s one of the things that was best about him. As I took off my jersey a few minutes ago when I got home and hung it up, I realized that after 30 years of being a fan and putting it on hold last year after the Horvat and then Boudreau mess, I can’t see myself putting on one of my Canucks jerseys again for a long time. I don’t want to be associated with people like that guy and those that so quickly turn on someone that gave their soul to this team.

And heeeeeeere come the pretzels

And he was applauded not even two, three minutes after the booing, game going fans were a bit odd tonight.

He spent nine years with us, most of it was during the darkest days of the salary cap era for the Canucks. He was often the only silver lining in those miserable ass rosters from 2014-2019.
I’m grateful for everything he’s done but the W feels sooo good.
