The money is a little bit of a concern but I love Mikheyev as a player I always noticed him in the Toronto series Vs Tampa quick winger w solid PK skills! Russians are stacking up 👏🏽

Great signing! For those who play Timmy's Hockey challenge, Mikheyev was a solid pick on the second list this year. I would like to thank him and Matthews for the free coffee I got this year.
Absolutely terrible signing. They literally only signed him because he's Russian and gave him top 6 money when there's no spot for him in the top 6. All this does is just put the Canucks in more cap hell.
No issues with Salary cap. Currently under it with Ferlands LTIR.
If the Canucks trade Garland just to sign Mikheyev that is such a dumb decision

I like the Lazar signing but not a fan of this one especially cause it's more money that isn't going to Miller
He has lots of speed and will be a great addition on the PK. The problem is that he is oft-injured – for the number of games he has missed in the last three years, it worries me how much they are paying him… Let's hope the new team health specialist will be able to ensure that he plays more games per season than he did while he was with the Leafs.

I think this means that someobody is getting moved out. My money is most likely on that being Miller, but we'll see
He's bringing a lot of speed and a PK upgrade to the Canucks. And he will have some comfort in knowing two fellow Russians are there already.. Maybe that helps him settle in faster.

Ilya Mikheyev is a good signing, he can score goals. Lazar is an improvement from Limmikko, still need some upgrades on Defense but this is definitely a start to getting better.
They should bring Jay Beagle back. He was sorely missed on the PK. We could get him at a reasonable price.

4 SHG. Great 5on5. With his speed him and Petey really elevate the PK. The only way this is an upgrade is if Pearson and/or Dickinson goes rather than anyone else in the core top9.
I have no idea what to expect. I just wanted to see their defense improved badly.

I totally see what management is doing now. We will have a fourth line with Dickinson, Lockwood, Dakota Joshua, and Lazar now. Much better than Lammikko and Highmore.

Funny if any other team in league signed Mikheyev Canuck fans would say big deal . Instead of signing him why didn't they save that money for resigning Miller ? He should have been top priority !
