Rangers haven’t played a game in what feels like a month and they are still 1st in the division, 2nd in the conference, and 4th in the league 🍻

I feel for Fil and his health. He needs to do what is best for him.
But as a rangers fan, Drury HAS to be on the phone looking for replacements ASAP. Goodrow and Bonino are barely 4th liners. And all they are gonna do is drag down Kakko and Cuylle.
If you [look at this](https://imgur.com/a/DOEd8GJ) you can see that basically goodrow and bonino literally make every single player worse when they are on the ice with. It is especially egregious for goodrow. We pay him so much yet every single player drops from productive and good defensively to literally the worst in both xGA/60 and xGF/60. Bonino is not as bad but he still drastically brings everyone down. Yet on the literal opposite end of the spectrum, Kakko and Cuylle both make just about every single player better when they play with them.
And the fact that Cuylle-Bonino-Kakko is the second highest xGF% (only behind Kreider-Mika-Kakko) and have the 3rd lowest xGA/60 (again only behind KMK and Cuylle-tro-wheeler) shows how badly we need a decent middle 6 center for these kids.
The problem that obviously arises is who the hell is actually available without giving up perreault, sykora and/or othmann

This is the first game of the year I am not going to be able to watch live. I feel like I’m cheating.
I want us to win, I am very nervous about rangers week off looking rusty, and then the return of Jack Hughes and the devils with a gutsy win against Pitt.
