It sucks that Chatfield is the healty scratch again but TDA was almost the only player providing offense the last game, so I get it why he’s dressed BUT the Orlov-TDA pairing is a disaster.
I’m not a TDA hater like the 3/4 here… I dont mind him in the lineup but I want him with another player..not Orlov ffs they are so bad together.
And Bunting on the 4th line…I’m not a fan.

Rod Brind’Amour was asked this morning about finding the right combinations on the blue line, despite some of the defensive struggles that Dmitry Orlov and Tony DeAngelo have experienced.
“It’s still been a bit of a challenge. We don’t want to mess with the ‘top four’ grouping because they are what they are. It’s finding that other match to be perfect,” the head coach shared. “Obviously, it hasn’t been great, so we’re still searching there, but hopefully, it will solidify as we go along.”

All I can do is put out positive mojo into the universe that the boys are finally going to wake up and play like a team and start climbing back into the Metro race. It’s too close for my liking and we need to start reminding people who the Top Guys of the Metro are.

How long until we separate Orlov and TDA for good? I thought for sure Rod would have separated them after last game. I’m just going to tell myself that they’re giving TDA playing time before shipping him elsewhere lol. Give us Chatfield!
