  1. Slaf getting 2 points > team getting 2 points

not much more to stay, they kicked out ass tonight, tough game, but im happy for Slaf

    *BAD*

    – Well we know they are rebuilding and games like this will happen. It’s not so much the loss it looked like a real good NHL vs a very bad NHL team rebuild or not which is stating the obvious

    – The thermometer thermostat quotes are going to get old if you keep doing the same thing such as leaving Anderson on powerplay one with a whopping what 2 or 3 assists on the year. I get it, the team isn’t remotely skilled, but there are certain trends I’m not liking.

    – The defensive coverage was once again horrendous and is too passive. It will work against some of the weaker teams in the league but it doesn’t against high end talent. This passive approach was pretty evident since game 1. Watching the bruins on the PK was interesting how much they pressure.

    – Terrible discipline. Way too many penalties as usual.

    – Caufield slump kind of sucks.

    – First game I kinda used as background noise. Not really ideal, again not the loss, just really not a fun game.

    – Jordan Harris taking sophomore slump to the next level.

    *GOOD*

    – Kovacevic back to back games scoring. S/o to the poster who called that.

    – Slaf goal.

  3. Sentenced2Burn

Well, happy 2nd goal Slaf, sorry your party sucks again

  4. This level of play is starting to become unacceptable from Cole for year 1 of an extension. I sure as hell hope we didnt dish out 8 million dollars to someone just so they can score in OT.

I said in the thread as well but harris is just a nothing player. Shouldnt be in the lineup

At least gallagher didnt take a late pen?? Only positive i can take

  5. maglifzpinch

Look’s like this year is going to be just as bad as the last one. No offense, our top players play like shit.

  6. Rough 2 games in a row guys but let’s remember we are rebuilding. Dach not being there is such a massive lost for us and how we look.

    Go habs go

  7. fortytwoanswers

Rough but Slaf 1g1a is a fun one. Shades of what he can become. Goal was nice.

Caufield has been rough 5v5. Feels like we’re coming back down to earth. I don’t mind a little slide and one last top 10 pick tbh. We’ll add Dach, Hutson, Roy, and Reinbacher probably at minimum and take a step next year.

  8. Minato_is_God

Game was terrible, Slaf was up and down but him producing is nice to see after nothing for the first 10 games or so.

  9. BillyShears19

Alright boys, we’ve gone from playing poorly and winning, to playing well and losing, and now playing horrible and losing. Next up is playing good and winning!

  10. Beefiest_bison

They need to figure something out with the lines, team as a whole is bad but we should be able to ice 2 competent lines with the players we have.

  11. Slafkovsky got two points, which should help quiet the people complaining about the scoresheet, though I expect some of them will pivot to complaining about other aspects of the game (when they insisted that his playing well but not scoring in previous games wasn’t meaningful).

Not much to say about this one. Our team is bad, the Bruins are good, they rolled over us. Onward to Celebrini.

  12. Habslover

We’re we really that undisciplined or were the refs up to their usual tricks?

  13. Habs_Apostle

We had a nice first few weeks of hockey, but we’ve looked brutal for quite a while now. Safe to say this is who we are? Among a handful of bottom feeders. Oh well, it is what it is.

Can’t see myself sitting through many more games like this. Will go back to casually checking in. We clearly need an infusion of talent. Let’s hope for a nice pick and for our prospects to live up to expectations.

    Go Habs Go!

  14. CheetahLynx83

    I hate everything.

Except Slaf and Kovacevic scoring, I like that.

    But I hate everything else.

  15. JerkyBoy10020

Maybe we can now chill on the GOAL CAULFIELD slobbering

  16. IDK wtf is going on in our Dzone but that needs to be fixed ASAP

  17. Slaf 2 points is nice. Kovacevic scoring is nice.

Everything else terrible. Caufield slump sucks. Anderson sucks. Harris hasn’t looked good at all. Rough night for Barron too.

  18. Happy for Slaf.

If players take a lot of penalties in 3-4 games then players are to be blamed, but if the trend is more than 10 games, then the coach is to be blamed.

It’s like if a kid behaves badly for few times, then it’s the kid fault, but if he continually behaves badly, then it’s parent fault.

I really like MSL patience, but he has to make players reaponsible and accountable for their bad penalties. He has to make his message about penalties very clear to players. Scoring is hard and bit out of control, defense is hard too, but penalty is much easier to be controlled.

Who’s the last to be a point per game player? I’m losing faith in Suzuki and Caulfield…
