    The team needs to make a trade for a spark, this team just has no energy now and the Soucy injury isn’t doing us any favours.

    Anyone thinking we could make it through 82 games with this depth needs to give their head a shake. Lose two guys and were toast.

    Patterson already talking about these are two big pts. The fuck happened to glad we’re banking all these points talk?

    Doesn’t look like we’re gonna get this one, but regardless this thread is absolutely miserable for one of the best seasons we’ve been having in years. Chill guys sometimes you lose one not the end of the world

    I’m sorry but paying Pettersson $12 million a season scares the crap out of me. He just goes through these weird 7-8 game stretches where he looks like a rookie. I don’t know if he’s injured or if it’s a mental thing.

    Yes, he puts up 3 and 4 point games. But these are the types of games he needs to ignite the comeback. And right now, he’s not thinking the game well at all.

    This game does show how much our defense has improved, but also how much more it needs to.

    Losing Soucy shouldn’t affect us this much, but it really will show our lack of depth. Any defenseman out would show our lack of depth.

    Too many big mistakes/turnovers. They locked us down and kept us mostly to the outside. Team needs to learn they can’t win by scoring five goals and 2-3 PP goals each game. Gotta be able to grind out games like this.

    God this sub is insufferable whenever the team faces even the slightest bit of adversity. This roster isn’t winning the presidents trophy but its certainly not a lottery team either. Can we try and be realistic for a second?
