Ehlers doesn't drop the gloves often, that isn't his job, but good on him for doing the stand-up thing. Normally I would expect Brendan Dillon or Adam Lowry to take that one up.
That was a bad hit, and Ehlers did the right thing to stand up for Vladdy. Don’t want to see him in that role too often though, even Smith looked surprised when Ehlers dropped them haha
