[Mercogliano] Here’s Fox running through a drill. Seems to be moving pretty well. Just spoke to Laviolette, who said he’s been skating on his own prior to today and is progressing nicely. Still didn’t want to put a timetable on his returning, but it looks promising.

I wasn’t ever really worried about Fox. It would have been announced almost immediately if he had blown a ligament in the knee. Once they gave a timetable for his return in terms of weeks and not months, I figured it must be a contusion, and I was no longer worried about Fox. He’s well on his way to returning to action.

It’s Chytil I’m really worried about. Concussions are scary business.

  2. I love fox but do we want to fuck with what PP1 has right now? Id much prefer to keep PP1 as is and get miller off PP2. Miller looks absolutely lost out there, he holds the puck way too long and is too hesitant to make a pass. The example from yesterdays game. The devils basically loaded the middle to prevent to the pass across against PP2. Miller was middle blue line facing a wide open kakko tapping his stick, asking for the puck. Miller instead decided to turn around and look at a wide open laf. Miller still held the puck until the devils closed in on him and shifted to cover laf. Then miller passed it leading to zero chances on 2 wide open shots
