SHOOT IT BEDARD!
That was so damn close
Seth Jones is ass. Thread.
We actually played pretty well but still lost.
o7 reportin for duty.
The boys fought until the end. Also, Philipp Kurashev has 10 points in 10 games this season. Perhaps this is his breakout year. He’s been really impressive
This is kind of what we want, no? Play hard / well, get the rookies some experience – but still lose. That way we have better draft odds, right?
* Dahlin scored after the Hawks gave up too many good chances.
* Raddysh scored on a redirect after a Hawks’ PP expired.
* Skinner scored on a Sabers’ PP.
* R. Johnson was denied on a shorthanded breakaway.
* Kurashev scored on a rebound. He has 10 points in 10 GP this season.
* The Hawks fought hard to tie it up at the end, but they’ve now lost 4 straight (each by 1 goal if you exclude ENGs).
If we’re gonna lose we may as well lose in style lol
It’s tough to get too upset with loses this season knowing the team is mostly filled up with depth players at best, but my fucking god knowing we have Jones for 6 more seasons is going to keep me up at night
Macklin Celebrini you are a Chicago Blackhawk!
I wish I could be as bad at my job as Seth Jones and still make millions of dollars every year.
Seth Jones being on the ice in every empty net situation is just brutal. He does not seem to be on the same page as the forwards. Reminds me of when Seabrook kept being forced into situations that he no longer had the offensive aptitude to help in. His contract seemed to dictate the choice.
Give one of the kids a chance to marshal in these situations.
We won’t win games as long as Seth Jones is on the powerplay. Maybe that’s the point.
I’m sick of Seth Jones to the point where I almost wish we could buy him out
Guys we should really talk up Seth Jones for the rest of the year and hope we can convince him to waive his ntc for a move to the Oilers
I watch Seth Jones and I see a pretty useless hockey player and then I watch the CHGO recaps and they act like we have some superstar.
Seth jones try not to suck challenge: impossible
We may have to ask our doctor if Cialis is right for us since we can’t seem to finish…
I think there’s a definite lack of discipline with this team that’s evident when you see their inability to maintain a consistent pace or level of effort for a full 60.
That said, we knew the team was going to suck. Even with Bedard, they’re still built that way. At least they’re putting up a fight instead of rolling over and dying.
Jones sucks, though. Not that it really matters because, as I said, this team is designed to suck. But it’s just baffling to me how a “veteran” like him can so frequently look like the worst player on the ice. If Richardson actually wants to win I think it would be worth benching him for a game or two and seeing what happens, but I really wonder if there’s a sort of sunk cost fallacy with teams when they overpay for bad players, where they’re like, “Well, we’re paying him a ton so we’ve gotta play him.”
Fliggy for captain what a post game presser for him.
How good is 2024 NHL draft?
I don’t want us to tank perse, but it appears we are going to be a bottom 5 team.

Wise words from Uncle Nicky
Guh
Another close loss, but that was probably the best we have been at keeping pucks in the offensive zone. The Bedard Line looked great again, they have actually improved quite a bit defensively the last few games. Would love to see us improve our zone entries and power play.
Is this team really bad at setting up an offensive attack, or am I being overly critical of a rebuilding team? I have zero hockey experience so I don’t know and won’t pretend to know the complexities of defensive schemes when stopping the attack, but it feels like we mostly dump the puck around the boards and lose the ensuing fight for the puck, or we outright lose the puck when crossing the blue line. Are we being outschemed, a skill issue, a little/ a lot of both?
Bedard is going to make kurashev a nice chunk of change
Richardson trying so hard to bite his tongue about being disappointed with Reichel.
