[Frank Corrado] Defending in the neutral zone is just as much about clogging it up as it is putting yourself in a good position to break the puck out. Sheldon Keefe recognizes that with the Leafs’ neutral zone structure.

Frank’s videos have been great. Really like this type of analyzing. Gives some insight to stuff a lot of fans aren’t even remotely aware of.

I don’t like the way we play under Keefe. We hardly ever have odd man rushes in our favor, we don’t enter the zone as a unit, or appear to have any plays on zone entry that lead to a dangerous chance, and too often for my liking we have players just standing on the blue line after we don’t go for the quick up.

I can’t tell whether this is the best we can do given the players we have, or we end up doing well despite the lackluster system we are playing.

I feel bad ragging on Corrado earlier this season now. He has been putting out some pretty good content. I just wish that someone would help him up his production quality.

So many analysts and insiders clog up the timeline with either the same postsas each other or with empty, baiting articles. But hese vids by Frankie are outstanding. They give you a different perspective while still being easy to understand – explaining, not talking down to. I’m sure the production value will improve in time, but I do like how bare bones these are ngl.

He’s quickly become one my favourite analysts. It’s great to see a dude his age who can see value in both the eye test and analytical approaches, too.

If Tavares doesn’t get that bump pass then you have Minnesota cycling the puck up top looking like they’re on a PP. That’s what led to the 3-3 goal. Hockey is a game of milliseconds lol

This is the kind of analysis we need to help us understand what we are seeing out there. Thanks to Corrado.
