Bowen Byram’s NHL Future & Potential (2019 NHL Entry Draft: Chicago Blackhawks / Colorado Avalanche)

With Bowen Byram’s fantastic draft year coming to an end, let’s talk a little bit about what his future and potential holds for the NHL. With this upcoming 2019 NHL Entry Draft, Byram is projected to being the best defender of the class, and will most likely get drafted either 3rd overall by the Chicago Blackhawks or 4th overall by the Colorado Avalanche.

  1. Bowen byram will go 3rd overall I think the kids a stud. I wish the canucks could have him, but we both know that's not gonna happen.

  2. Byram cost giants game 4 with a pinch. game 6 stupid penalty gives pa a goal. game 7 choke as he played so tight. He is awesome but not perfect.

  3. Just wanted to say I love listening to your videos. I've been following you for a while now and always impressed.

  4. Well said vid, best D man in the draft by a mile for sure. It’s easier to develop forwards but harder to develop a defenseman let alone a top 2 D man. So whomever picks him up is in GREAT hands.

  5. I really wanted the Canucks to draft him. He is an all around Dman that will be a bonified top 2 in the future. If he was a right-handed D he would be #3 no questions asked. I really see him as a Mark Giordano, an all around d man that could play huge minutes, produce offensively and shut down top lines.

  6. i think vancouver should draft moritz seider right handed defenseman with 2 goals in the world champioship

  7. The pro-Byram folks are starting to get to me!  I had been happy with Cozens of Dach, both 6'3" plus scorers and playmakers, with the hands and skate edging nearly of Patrick Kane type AND, more than likely, they'll be ready to go at the beginning or early in the 2019-2020 season unlike all the dudes going overseas or to the NCAA.  Now, I'm hearing about Bowen "Borque" Byram controlling games for 28 minutes a night with skill, stamina and edginess.  Now, I don't know what to think.  Anybody have any bad data on Cozens and Dach to finally convince me?

  8. The Hawks need big men up the middle, but they also need a gritty and talented D man to compliment their veteran and minor league rising dmen.  Guelph's Entwistle (39 Goals), and high scoring overseas Centers, Kubalik and Kusherov might just have given the Hawks the idea that they don't have to draft Cozens or Dach.  So, my final prediction is Byram!

  9. I think he’s going to spend most of next season in Vancouver, then he might play the last couple of games or even playoff games like makar or quinn hughes

  10. I think he makes the Av's team because their going to trade T. Barrie. In the future Byram and Makar are going to make a scary Power Play. Go Av's.
