Blackwood made a game of it but the territorial domination is what you want to see against the Sharks, especially from the 2nd onward. The disallowed goal + the buzzer beater seemed to take a lot of the fight out of them.
I will continue to have nightmares of blackwood getting traded to a contender in the west.
Third line looks incredible
This is a game that the petey line shouldve feasted but they continue to get shutdown, definitely need a shakeup there
Btw, a PDO regression doesn’t necessarily mean we never score a goal again and lose a dozen in a row.
Theoretically it could also look like these sort of results instead of 10-1 beatdowns.

Petey line just hasnt looked good besides individual efforts from Ilya or Petty resulting in a goal. I’d like to see Garland and Hoggy get more shots with Pete, Kuzzy just hasn’t looked good this season imo (comparing him to last season and the rest of the guys, he barely stands out)
Quinn Hughes , a true captain, comes out the gate to break the slump. He says, no to 3 game losing streak and makes sure he is a leader on the ice by scoring and driving play. He is really making a case for the Norris and Hart. But imagine how cool it would be if he also won the Art Ross!
Blackwood really kept them in it. Glad he’s on the Sharks and not the Oilers. Turned into a fun game. On to Colorado.

Solid game by Juulsen and Friedman… 14 and 15 minutes apiece, and we didn’t have to play the wheels off Quinn and Hronek.
This is sustainable, but let’s see how they do against the Avs on Wednesday.
It does feel like Juulsen is slowly building on his game, he was solid against Seattle too.
I am super confused by the referee’s union. They seem to be super protected yet it is obvious that they cant even get eye care into their health plan.

I’ve gotta say, I love Al Murdoch. His announcement of goal scorers is second to none. I loved the elongation of Bo whenever Horvat would score, and I absolutely love his J.T. Miller announcement.
Really glad the boys found that dominant momentum in the last 10 minutes of the third. That sort of thing is good for confidence. Only wish Boeser or Petterson could have put one in.

Is Kuzy getting replaced in his power play spot? Honestly I kind of agree with putting Hronek there, Kuzy has practically been a non-factor in that PP. I just hope he gets out of whatever slump he’s in right now.
Also why are we playing Hronek and Hughes late in the third? At least split them up. Myers and Cole can do more I think, they haven’t been too terrible and Myers sacrificed his nuts for the team today.
Overall a good win against a team who’s strategy coming in is “block everything and goalie the canucks”. Wasn’t as interesting as winning 10-1 but a W is a W.

Flames fan just popping in after seeing the highlights from your game. 2 things I want to say:
1. Those uniforms are absolute fire! The matte black is classy!
2. Quinn Hughes. Holy shit he’s fun to watch

We really needed that momentum shift. Shorty after Hog was sent off then the grit to finish out the third. We got a really tough few weeks coming up so it’ll be nice to head into it with the wind at our backs.

They removed the ability (that i can find) in the app to pick a channel ie: sprtsnet pacific, and now i missed the rest of the game.
This stupid app costs me as much as Prime and Disney plus ffs.
There are SOOOO many free options on the internet, yet you put out a trash app like this, year after year.
I am sooo sick of this. What do they expect people to do? The pirated streams work better than this.
